The Babel Nexus Index is operated by Babel Nexus, LLC and is offered free of charge for personal reading, study, and research. No account or payment is required to use the public library. By using the Index, you agree to these terms.

The design, curation, code, and original writing are © 2026 Babel Nexus, LLC, all rights reserved. Referenced texts may be in the public domain, but the Index’s original arrangement, presentation, and writing are not. Do not copy or republish the Index itself without permission.
The Index is a discovery service. Many reading links lead to independent archives, and bookstore links lead to outside retailers. Their terms, availability, pricing, and content are outside the Index’s control.
Acceptable use
Use the Index in good faith. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, scrape it at scale, overload the Oracle, or use it for unlawful activity.
The Nexus Oracle
The Oracle is an AI assistant provided for research convenience. Its answers may be incomplete or wrong and are not authoritative professional advice. Check cited primary sources and do not enter personal or sensitive information.
No warranty and limits
The Index is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. It may change, contain errors, or be unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, Babel Nexus, LLC is not liable for loss arising from use of the Index or an outside service reached through it.
