Táin Bó Cúailnge (The Cattle Raid of Cooley)

Táin Bó Cúailnge is an anonymous Old Irish epic tale centering on a war incited by Queen Medb of Connacht to steal a prize bull. It is considered the central text of the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology and is one of the earliest vernacular epics in Europe.
